The challenge

Birlasoft, a leading Indian IT company, was facing a growing challenge in managing its social media presence. The corporate marketing team struggled to coordinate effectively with multiple business units, leading to inconsistent posting schedules, fragmented messaging, and a gradual decline in brand visibility.

For a technology leader, inconsistent social presence not only affects brand perception but also limits opportunities for meaningful engagement with a global audience.

The solution

We approached the problem as an ecosystem alignment project, aimed at making every moving part of Birlasoft’s social presence work in sync.

  • Unifying the Content Flow A dedicated team was embedded into Birlasoft’s marketing workflow to act as the bridge between corporate marketing and individual business units. This ensured that content ideas, assets, and updates from across the organization flowed into a single, coordinated publishing schedule.
  • Standardizing for Consistency We introduced platform-specific content templates to create visual and tonal uniformity across all categories of posts. Every link was embedded with UTM tracking for accurate performance analytics, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • HAdding Engagement Catalysts To keep audiences actively participating, we designed and implemented regular LinkedIn polls. Over 25 polls have been rolled out so far, turning passive followers into an engaged community and sparking discussions on relevant industry themes.
  • Continuous Fine-Tuning Weekly syncs with Birlasoft’s team kept the strategy agile, allowing for quick pivots. Internally, monthly brainstorming sessions uncovered new engagement opportunities and ensured the content strategy stayed fresh and relevant.

The outcome

This ecosystem-based approach transformed Birlasoft’s LinkedIn presence into a highly coordinated and consistently engaging channel. Followers grew to over 250,000, poll interactions became a recurring community touchpoint, and standardized processes ensured the brand’s voice remained unified across all content streams.
